Cloud & DevOps

Resilient cloud architecture and automated delivery pipelines on AWS, Azure, and GCP.

We build cloud infrastructure and delivery pipelines as versioned, reviewable code on AWS, Azure, or GCP, replacing hand-edited consoles and one-off scripts. Our engineers deliver the platform your teams ship to daily: reproducible environments, automated releases, and telemetry that reflects what production is actually doing. Deployments become routine rather than events, and the system stays legible enough that your team can operate it without us.

Why it matters

When delivery is manual and infrastructure is undocumented, every release carries avoidable risk, and a single outage can cost more revenue and trust than a quarter of features returns. As a system grows, the constraint shifts from writing code to shipping it safely, and teams that can deploy on demand out-execute those still scheduling releases around who is available to babysit them.

What we do

Inside Cloud & DevOps

The specific work we take on — each engagement scoped to what your product actually needs.

01

Infrastructure as Code

We define every environment in Terraform or the cloud-native equivalent, so changes are peer-reviewed, version-controlled, and reproducible from an empty account. Because staging and production come from the same modules, configuration drift between them stops being a source of surprise incidents.

02

CI/CD pipeline engineering

We build pipelines that build, test, scan, and deploy on every merge, with feedback in minutes and explicit gates before anything reaches production. Each release is a versioned, immutable artifact, so a rollback is one command against a known-good build rather than a scramble.

03

Kubernetes and container platforms

We run containerized workloads on managed Kubernetes (EKS, AKS, GKE) with autoscaling, network policy, and resource limits configured to the actual workload, not left at defaults. Product teams deploy through a paved path and rarely need to touch the cluster internals underneath.

04

Observability and monitoring

We instrument services with metrics, structured logs, and distributed traces correlated in one place, so an alert leads to the responsible service instead of a hunt. On-call engineers can see what deployed, what changed, and where latency or errors originate during an incident.

05

Cloud cost and reliability engineering

We right-size compute, tune autoscaling to observed demand, and reclaim idle resources and orphaned storage that quietly accrue across accounts. We set SLOs with error budgets, so the trade-off between shipping speed and reliability is decided on data rather than by whoever is loudest.

06

Security and compliance automation

We move secret management, least-privilege IAM, and dependency and image scanning into the pipeline, so every build is checked before it ships rather than audited after. Controls and their evidence are captured as the pipeline runs, so a SOC 2 or ISO audit pulls from records that already exist.

How we work

Our approach, by effort

Where a typical engagement's time actually goes — front-loaded on getting it right, not just building fast.

  • Automate (IaC + CI/CD)35%
  • Observe & harden25%
  • Optimize & hand over20%
  1. 01

    Assess & baseline

    20%

We inventory infrastructure, delivery, and spend, and set a cost and reliability baseline to measure against.

  2. 02

    Automate (IaC + CI/CD)

    35%

Every environment and pipeline becomes reviewed, version-controlled code, reproducible from an empty account.

  3. 03

    Observe & harden

    25%

Metrics, logs, traces, SLOs, and security scanning wired in so an incident leads straight to the cause.

  4. 04

    Optimize & hand over

    20%

Right-size compute, tune autoscaling, cut idle spend, and hand the platform over with runbooks.

Use cases

Where this shows up

The shapes cloud & devops work most often takes when teams bring us in.

Cloud migration

Move on-prem or another provider onto AWS, Azure, or GCP in slices, without downtime.

Deploy on demand

Replace manual releases with pipelines that build, test, scan, and deploy on every merge.

Cost reduction

Trace spend to teams and services, then cut idle resources and right-size compute.

Audit readiness

Wire SOC 2 / ISO controls and evidence into the pipeline before the auditor arrives.

What you get

  • Version-controlled infrastructure code for every environment, provisionable from an empty account through a documented process
  • CI/CD pipelines wired to your repositories with build, test, security-scan, and deployment stages, plus one-command rollback
  • An observability stack with per-service dashboards, distributed tracing, and alert thresholds tuned to cut false pages
  • Runbooks and on-call procedures covering the common failure modes and their step-by-step recovery
  • A cost baseline with resource tagging, budget alerts, and a prioritized reduction plan tied to specific line items
  • Architecture documentation and a working handover session so your team can operate and extend the platform unaided

Is this you?

When teams bring us in for cloud & devops

  • Deployments are manual, risky, or scheduled around who's available to babysit them
  • Cloud spend is climbing and you can't trace it to teams or services
  • You're migrating to the cloud, or between providers, and want it done without downtime
  • You need SOC 2 / ISO controls wired into the pipeline, not bolted on before an audit

FAQ

Cloud & DevOps, answered

The questions teams ask us most before an engagement.

Which cloud provider do you recommend?

The one that fits your team, workloads, and existing commitments — usually AWS, Azure, or GCP. We're provider-agnostic and will tell you honestly when a migration isn't worth the cost.

Can you reduce our cloud bill?

Typically yes. We right-size compute, tune autoscaling to real demand, reclaim idle resources, and add tagging so every dollar is traceable. We start from a cost baseline and a prioritized list tied to specific line items.

How do you avoid downtime during migration?

We run old and new in parallel, migrate in slices, and validate each step before cutover. Infrastructure is defined as code, so environments are reproducible and rollbacks are one command.

Will our team be able to run the platform after you leave?

That's the point. Everything is version-controlled, documented, and handed over with runbooks and a working session. No lock-in to us.

Have a project in mind?

Tell us where you’re headed. We’ll tell you the fastest, soundest way to get there.
